India and Pak, both evenly balanced

The performance of the youngsters should be praised. Rohit Sharma proved his class with 52, Sreesanth took 3 early wickets and Praveen Kumar bowled well in his first spell.

Sangakara did frighten Australia, who won by 96 runs. ( Brett Lee was too much for the Lankans ).

In Tests, India is better placed than Pak, as the fourth. So can we say India has the edge, considering the series is played in India ? Time alone can tell. Both teams appear to be equal in talent. Pak is better in pace bowling and India is better is spin bowling. In batting both appear to be on an equal footing, even though Indians have scored more runs than the Paks, collectively. Sachin alone has scored more than 27000 runs in both Tests and ODIs. Just imagine how many runs the Three Muskateers have scored in both Tests and ODIs !
