In the first Test, India is just 3 runs behind Pakistan.
India has to consolidate, as she has to bat in the fourth innings. The pitch is not so good and some balls are keeping low. It is not a batsman's Paradise, as reported earlier. The Pakis bowled well and India was down in the dumps at 144/5. Then the century partnership between Laxman and Dhoni propped up the Indian innings.
Both scored half centuries. Laxman is 57 not out with Kumble on 7 not out. It should be remembered that Kumble had scored a century in England !
